Today started out bitter cold in Chicago; temps in the low teens with a “real feel” in single digits. After coffee, we decided to head out to the lakefront for a long walk. We started out about noon, and although it was still cold, the sun was shining and felt wonderful. It was also a picture-perfect day, and we stayed out almost three hours. What a fantastic way to begin 2013.
